This is our tow vehicle, a 2013 Tacoma. I am getting ready to install a tailgate lock and weight distributing hitch. We are looking forward to our first trip of the spring in April.

Getting started
So...I have retired and Dave will be retiring. We bought a 2008 Airstream Bambi last year and named her Luci. My mother's middle name was Lucille and Lucille Ball made a movie about a long, long Airstream. It seemed appropriate at least to me.
We took her out to the Snowies in the Medicine Bow range for our first camping trip. The tow vehicle is a 2013 Toyota Tacoma which pulled just fine. Dave installed a towing brake and we will get a weight distributing hitch before going on any longer trips. The Tacoma has a tonneau cover and will get a tailgate lock as soon as the weather warms up.
Luci is winterized and sitting in our front yard waiting for our big adventures. We have lots of them planned and will keep you posted.
